Fun and Educational Activities

STEM for Children

STEM is an acronym that stands for science, technology, engineering, and math. STEM subjects develop creators, thinkers, problem solvers, doers, innovators, and inventors.

Spotlight on STEM programs

Kids see fun.
You see real learning outcomes.

STEM activities can inspire children to develop a natural curiosity about the world. From making paper circuit boards to building a balloon car, children can do dozens of STEM activities daily to boost creativity and cognitive processing. Kids can pick up an intuitive sense of practical applicability, with visual learners understanding subjects better through observation of experiments. STEM activities also encourage confidence and autodidactic learning through curiosity-driven testing.

Our Programs

At novaltech.org, we provide an engaging and educational environment where children can explore the fascinating world of robotics and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). Our expertly designed programs are tailored to spark curiosity, foster creativity, and develop critical thinking skills.

Our Mission

Our knowledge of STEM is our greatest natural resource, the ultimate equalizer. The data on the achievement gap between students of low and high-income backgrounds highlights the need of leveling the playing field in math and science classrooms. Our foundation empowers students with the tools and skillsets to compete in the global economy.

What We Do?

Robotics

Robotics is a great way to engage students in all subjects because it gives students the necessary skills to succeed and enforces learning in a real and concrete manner.
We provide training on LEGO EV3, LEGO WeDo 2.0, SPRK from Orbotics, and Dash-n-Dot by Wonder Workshop. These robots help students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Coding

Coding is also a great way to engage students as it is relatively less expensive than robotics, gives many of the same skills, and it mines the interest inside a student’s brain.
We provide training in Scratch from MIT, AppLab from code.org, and Alice 3 by Oracle. As revered of a job skill coding is, these trainings will help your students gain the skills they need to succeed.

Engineering Design

Engineering Design Challenges are a great way to show real-life applications of concepts and bring about a much deeper level of understanding.
We provide training in engineering design challenges aligned to Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) engineering practices.
